Richard Hagl holds degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of Wisconsin, USA; a degree in systems engineering from the University of Applied Sciences, Munich, Germany; and completed his Doctorate in business administration (DBA) at the Waterford Institute of Technology in Ireland from 2014 to 2020 on the impact of augmented reality and virtual reality technologies on business model innovation.
